Gibt es eine Faustregel, wie groß die AGP aperture sein sollte ?
Es galt mal ca. die Hälfte des installierten Hauptspeichers - allerdings vor der Speicherpreisinflation ;-) Mehr als 128 sollte aber eigentlich nicht sinnvoll sein, afaik natürlich... Gruß Thomas

Meines Wissens wird dieser Speicher Bereich für Texturen und ähnliches genutzt vergleichbar also mit einem virtuellem Speicher für die Grafikkarte. Für einen Büroarbeitsplatz kann man getrost darauf verzichten, bzw. das Minimum von 4MB des BIOS einstellen. Die Mitglieder der Gamer Fraktion sagen man sollte ca. das doppelte des Speichers der Gafikkarte einstellen. (Bei den aktuellen GraKards demnach wohl 512MB *grusel*) Ich würde versuchen mich langsam an einen akkzeptablen Wert heran zu tasten, Wenn die Animationen ruckeln etwas mehr genehmigen, bis das Optimum erreicht ist.
