Wenn Du IP-Routing konfigurieren willst, dann solltest Du auch wissen, wie man das macht. Insofern ist auch das iproute-Paket wohl eher für Insider gedacht. Vielleicht erstmal das TCP/IP-HowTo oder ein gutes Buch zu diesem Thema lesen?
unter Linux bin ich bisher mit Eintraegen in der route.conf gut hingekommen, mit dem routed oder proxyarp werde ich mich demnaechst beschaeftigen. Mit Ciscos komme ich soweit auch zurecht, was statisches Routing oder auch dynamisches ueber rip angeht. Nur mit den obigen Befehlen hatte ich noch nix zu tun -- beim cisco-ios gibt es zwar auch einen 'ip'-Befehl, aber der ist mit obigem sicher nicht identisch. Dass die mittleren beiden sicherlich mit Accounting und Monitoring zu tun haben, errate ich einfach mal.
