tcpdump: Protokoll des ppp Verbindungsaufbaus
Hallo! Ich bekomme es nicht hin tcpdump in Lauerstellung zu bringen um dann den Verbindungsaufbau zu Protokollieren. Starten von tcpdump ist erst moeglich wenn die Verbindung schon steht (ppp0). Wäre das eintragen von tcpdump in der 'ip-up' im /etc/ppp nich eine möglichkeit ? nachdem die verbindung initiiert wurde, greift das dann sofort ..oder soll es noch eher laufen ? nachdem die verbindung initiiert wurde, greift das dann sofort ..oder soll es noch eher laufen ? Ja, siehe 'PPP: PAP/Unknown portokol reveived' in dieser Liste. Ich moechte die Initiierung analysieren. Hatte den Provider nach dem 'Unknown protocol' gefragt, und die sagten: 'Gute Frage! [...]tcpdump[...]' Wissen moechte ich was das fuer ein Protokoll ist und ob es etwas mit IPX zu tun hat. Beim Verbindungsaufbau soll der ISP die DNS übertragen - sehe ich aber nicht. Vermutung des Providers: Unknown protocol ist fehlende DNS oder IPX.
