Na immerhin biste einen Schritt weiter... Das System ist aber schon ne 7.3, oder ? Bootest Du auch von einem 7.3er System? Sonst wird das nämlich nix... Hab ich mir auch schonmal nen Wolf gesucht... Gruß Alex

Ja das stimmt, ich bin auch froh. Das System ist original Suse Linux 7.3. Auf dem FTP Server liegt wie gesagt die DVD. Gebootet habe ich mit der Bootdiskette, die ich mir mit rawrite geschrieben habe. Nach der Aufforderung "CD1" habe ich ESC gedrückt. TASTENKOMPINATION ALT+F1 kam folgendes Killing bash (220) Killing bash (221) Killing bash (416) Killing bash (417) Killing bash (545) Killing bash (546) Killing bash (547) Killing syslogd (570) umount /inst-img ok Ramdisk memory susessfully feed Loading Image "/suse/suse/images/root" ... Loading of rootimage returns 0 Mounting of inst-sys returns0 inst_execute_yast:903 command_ti "/inst-img/sbin/inst_setup" starting yast1 inst_execute_yast:921 command_ti "/inst-img/sbin/inst_setup yast1" yast1 return code is 35072 (errno =2) sync... ok Ich hoffe das hilft weiter. gruß Silvio

Ich hoffe das hilft weiter.
Mir persönlich leider nicht.. Kannst Du auf der Windows Möhre im Logfile des FTP Servers was "Verdächtiges" finden? Sonst fällt mit spontan auch nix mehr ein. Gruß und weiterhin viel Erfolg Alex
