weiß jemand, ob arkeia auch _ohne_ (Hardware-)SCSI-Karte (Controller) funktioniert. Mit anderen Worten: Läuft arkeia ersatzweise auch mit der (softwarebasierten) SCSI-Emulation?

Wirklich wissen tu ich es nicht, aber der Quickinstall- Guide sagt:
2.1.1 Hardware Requirements Arkeia requires the following hardware configuration: a computer able to run your operating system and TCP/IP 32 MB RAM a SCSI tape drive

Ja läuft wunderbar. Habe es hier im Einsatz mit einem HP-Colorado IDE, welches nur im Emulations-Modus läuft.
