OT: Thunderbird: Quoting und Schriftgröße
Hallo, <Mua-Flame> ich habe mich jetzt zu einem Umstieg auf Thunderbird durchgerungen, da Kmail mir heute morgen ca. 20mal abgestürzt ist, und ich eine Mail in OOo verfassen musste, um sie dann abzusenden. Alles in Allem hatte ich da halt ständig solche Probleme, wie eine Meldung "Prozess POP3 lässt sich nicht starten" o.Ä. ... Die Lösung lautete dann meist, kdepim3 ganz herunterzuwerfen, oder eine ältere Version zu installieren... heute ist mir da der Kragen geplatzt. </Mua-Flame> Bei Thunderbird habe ich jetzt alle Konten eingerichtet, auch die Filter funktionieren bereits sehr gut, aber zwei Probleme bleiben noch: 1.: Wenn ich eine Mail verfasse, kann ich die Schriftgröße nicht mit strg++ ändern. Ich schreibe hier trotz 19" TFT-Bildschirm mit ca. 25cm Abstand vom Bildschirm. Wie kann man hier die Schriftgröße anpassen? 2.: Beim Quoting werden die > ohne Leerzeichen aufeinandergesetzt. Das ist hier laut Etikette nicht erlaubt, daher würde ich das gerne ändern... Eine Google-Suche auf Mozilla.org brachte mir zwar eine Checkliste, mit der man überprüfen konnte, ob das Quoting überall gleich ist, oder nicht, aber leider nichts, was mir verraten könnte, wie ich mit "> " quoten kann. Ich habe hier schon viele Thunderbird-User gesehen, die es irgendwie geschafft haben, ihrem Thunderbird das Quoten beizubringen... Kann mir da bitte jemand einen Tipp geben? Ob das OntheFly geht, weiß ich nicht, aber unter Bearbeiten/Einstellungen im Punkt Schriftarten kannst Du die Schriftgröße einstellen. Ebenso die Bildschirmauflösung, falls die nicht Deinem System entspricht. mfG, Jens

OK. Danke! Ich habe jetzt immer nur bei "Ansicht" und so gesucht gehabt, aber das hat jetzt das Problem behoben :-) Gleich die nächste Thunderbird-Frage hinterher: Wo kann man das richtige List-Reply konfigurieren? Ich habe hier einmal "Antworten". Das erzeugt nur eine PM. "Antwort an Alle" setzt den User, auf den ich antworte, ins TO, und die ML ins CC. Das halte ich für überflüssig/nervig. Ich habe nach "List-reply thunderbird" gegooglet und bin da sofort auf einen Thread der Debian-user-german-ML gestoßen, wo festgestellt wurde, dass es wohl nicht anders geht, als das jedesmal zu ändern oder per Usenet zu posten(arg). Da der Thread schon ca. 1 Jahr alt ist, hoffe ich, dass jemand von euch vielleicht eine Lösung für das Problem kennt :-) vielen Dank im Vorraus! Gruß Sören

Ich dachte, hier ist eine suse-linux-Liste und keine "wie richte ich mein Mozilla Thunderbird richtig ein"-Liste... :-) Zum Font-Problem hast Du ja schon Antworten bekommen (wobei mir schleierhaft ist, wie man das in den Einstellungen uebersehen kann). Es gibt IMHO kein List-Reply fuer Thunderbird (steht schon seit Ewigkeiten auf der TODO Liste). Zum Quoting"problem": es gibt AFAIK kein Problem, das wird nur von Thunderbird intern so dargestellt. Noch ein Wort zu Verschluesselung, falls Du enigmail benutzt: stelle es auf "always PGP/MIME" ein, ansonsten quotet Thunderbird wirklich falsch und produziert Kammquoting! Cheers, Th.

Ja.. aber da die richtige Einrichtung ja quasi Vorraussetzung für das Posten hier ist und es mir etwas übertrieben schien, deswegen eine Mozilla-ML zu subscriben, habe ich lieber mal hier gefragt. Dass es etwas blind von mir war mit dem Font-Problem, gebe ich ja zu..
Es gibt IMHO kein List-Reply fuer Thunderbird (steht schon seit Ewigkeiten auf der TODO Liste).
Schade! Wie machst Du das (oder andere TB-User)? Änderst Du jedes Mal das "TO:"? Oder hat Mozilla-Mail doch ein paar Funktionen mehr als Thunderbird? Ich persönlich halte es nicht für schön, wenn die Mails immer noch als CC verschickt werden.

Ja.. als meine Antwort an Jens angekommen war, ist mir das auch aufgefallen. Aber Du hast schneller geantwortet, als ich die Frage zurücknehmen konnte ;-)

Ich benutze ebenfalls Thunderbird. Ich aendere tatsaechlich das To:, was ich aber nicht als laestig empfinde. Erstens habe ich einen Alias fuer die Liste, sodass es wirklich schnell zu aendern ist und nicht ausgeschrieben werden muss, zweitens zwingt es ein bissl zum Nachdenken, ob eine Email wirklich an die Liste oder nicht doch besser privat verschickt werden sollte... Generell wuerde ich allerdings eine List-Reply Funktion auch begruessen. Cheers, Th.

Merkwürdig, dass dann bei dir "User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5)" und bei mir "User-Agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0 (X11/20041207)" im Header steht.
