/etc/inittab missing
Hi guys Er, god we do some stupid things, eh? my latest one is 'accidentally' deleing /etc/inittab (8.0) How (if at all) can I recover/recreate the file? I haven't shutdown since it went, so ... Cheers Dylan

"rpm -qf /etc/inittab" shows you that this is a part of the package aaa_base. After reinstalling this package from your source media you should be fine. Aber fuer das uebliche ist ein 'rpmqf foo paket' leichter als ein 'rpm -q --queryformat "%{foo}" paket'... :)
