VMware Workstation 4.0.5 build-6030 läuft nicht stabil
Hallo *, VMware Workstation 4.0.5 build-6030 lässt sich nicht stabil installieren. Nach der Installation kann ich VMware zwar starten, nur leider stürzt es dann beim Starten eines virtuellen Rechners ab. Es tauchen auch ein paar komische Meldungen beim installieren der Kernelmodule auf: # ./vmware-install.pl [...] Trying to find a suitable vmmon module for your running kernel. Zum 1024.ten Mal diese Frage. a) schau ins Archiv --- b) Du kannst die vmware-Module aus dem vmware-kernel-Modul von SuSE erezugen c) Du kannst Dir den Patch von ftp://platan.vc.cvut.cz/pub/vmware/ besorgen und dann vmware-config.pl ausführen Andreas PS: Natürlich läuft vmware dann auch stabil unter dem Kernel xy
