Hallo, ich habe mir letzte Woche mal meine /home Partition mit dem Reiser Filesystem (ver. 3.5.16) erstellt. Doch nun mußte ich leider festellen , dass mir der Recher 1-2 mal pro Tag abstuertzt (kein Eingabe, kein Telnet, die Maus bewegt sich nicht mehr, nur noch ein Ping von einem anderen Rechner ist moeglich). Ohne das Reiserfs tritt dieses nicht auf. kann ich nicht bestätigen. /home ist bei mir seit ca. 2 Wochen reiserfs und läuft genauso stabil wie mit ext2fs. Interessant währe mal zu erfahren wie Du denn /home auf reiserfs gebracht hast. /home hat, wie oben schon steht, ein eigene Partition. die Info habe ich mir mal ausgedruckt, nur weis ich die genaue URL nicht mehr. War aber glaube ich auf der Reiserfs Homepage. Die sagen, daß man vor dem mkreiserfs ein: dd if=/dev/zero bs=1k count=65536 of=/dev/partition machen sollte. partition natürlich durch den richtigen Wert ersetzen. Ich habe es so gemacht und bisher läuft alles. Aur einem zweiten Rechner laufen mittlerweile alle Partitionen, außer /boot, auf reiser und das sehr stabil. /boot bin ich mir unsicher, ob der lilo mit einer reiserfs-Partition umgehen kann, daher habe ich die noch mal ext2fs gelassen. Laut Doku kann er, wenn die Partition mit der Option notail gemountet wird. Allerdings muß die Partition dann auch groß genug sein, um das Journal aufzunehmen. In meinem Fall wollte er auf einer 7800-KB-Partition ein 8192-KB-Journal anlegen.
