Mit Linux ueber Samba auf Linuxserver drucken
Hallo Liste, jetzt kommt wieder ein weinig was exotischeres mit kleinen Umwegen... :-) Die Fakten: - Linux-Server mit Samba - Windows 2000 Clients - die Windowskisten drucken über Samba auf dem LinuxServer - Ich bin zu dumm, meine SuSE 7.3 | KDE 3.0 so einzustellen, das ich auch über diesen Server drucken kann. - Mir fehlt der Anfang, die passenden Infos im Web aufzuspüren - Ich find immer nur Duko über "wie druckt man mit win über linux..." Mag mir da vielleicht jemand ein paar hilfreiche Tipps geben? Wär euch sehr dankbar! Mit yast/yast2 oder mit lprsetup (je nach Drucksystem) Drucker einrichten, dabei kannst Du dann den "entfernten Rechener" angeben. Steht doch auch im Handbuch oder? cu Thomas -- www.thofi-lich.de

Die nächste Frage: CUPS oder aps? CUPS lässt sich schön über den Browser (Port 631) konfigurieren, erfordert allerdings eine Anpassung der cupsd.conf. aps läßt sich relativ "idiotensicher" mit Yast einrichten. Gruß Guido
