Hallo Liste, seit einigen Tagen friert opensuse für einige Zeit ein (System wie in Kennung unten). Habe gedacht, Kontact würde da in Verbindung mit Java Probleme machen. Also habe ich versucht KDE wieder auf die offizielle Update-Repo Version downzugraden. Dabei ging gar nichts mehr. Im Runlevel 3 konnte ich dann Yast aufrufen und alle Pakete neu installiert. Danke, das ist schlecht, die ist erst ein halbes Jahr alt. Hab wohl das Montagsmodell erwischt. Dann werd ich mal alle Daten sichern und beobachten.

Kämen dann nicht Meldungen über Blockfehler? Würde eher auf den Bereich Interface, also Hardware wie Kabel, Steckerverbinder, Übertemperatur an SATA- oder Plattencontroller oder kürzlich erfolgte Änderungen im BIOS tippen. Unterspannung wegen zuviel eingebauten oder angesteckten Geräten kann sich auch so äußern. Da scheint ja einiges an devices angehängt zu sein. Danke fuer die Antworten, am System habe ich aber nichts veraendert. Auf der 2ten Platte ( eine alte ide) hatte ich zum testen die 11.1 A1 aufgespielt und die laeuft da. Im Moment schreibe ich von einer Livecd die in einem Sata- Laufwerk liegt, womit ich den controller ausschliesse. Hab mal ein bisschen gegooglet, scheint ein Kernel-Bug zu sein: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9819#c7 Die Platte ist wohl doch nicht kaputt. Ich werd mal dann die Hardware ein bisschen ausprobieren. Seltsam ist nur, dass die Performance auf einmal so gelitten hat. Wenn das die Platte sein sollte, dann ist's deren Elektronik.
