Hallo, ich habe Probleme auf meinem Notebook (Twinhead Slimnote EX200TG, Pentium 200, 64MB, Trident Cyber 9397 mit 4MB) den x-server zu konfigurieren. Wenn ich sax beende und die grafik/monitor einstellungen getestet werden sehe ich entweder einen schwarzen Schirm und erhalte im Log spaeter die Nachricht `No screen found` oder ich erhalte einen stark vergrößerten Ausschnitt (Art Lupe) von der Mitte des Bildschirms (und muß dann mit Strg+Alt+Ins raus, weil ich mit der Maus nicht an die Tasten rankomme. Wenn ich mit xf86config arbeite komme ich bis zum Windowmanager, habe dann allerdings auch nur die vergroesserte Mitte des desktop und muß mit der Maus am Rand `anstossenŽ, um die anderen Bereiche des desktop zu sehen. Frage also: wie muß Grafikkarte und Monitor (TFT-Display) konfiguriert werden? Ferner habe ich mit meinem Touchpad, das Problem das ich den Effekt rechte Maustaste nur erreiche, wenn ich linke und rechte Maustaste gleichzeitig druecke. Wie aender ich das? Fuer eine anfaengerverstaendliche Antwort ware ich Euch echt dankbar! Ich habe Linux auf einem Notebook mit der gleichen Graphikkarte installiert. Benutze am besten xf86config. Beantworte die Frage nach emulate 3 Buttons mit ja und die Frage nach chord middle mit nein. Schau in deiner Doku zum Notebook nach wie groß die Auflösung deines Displays ist. Bei 1024x768 gibst du zB als hsync 31.5-57.0 ein und als vsync 50-100 (einfach probieren. Zu kleine Werte führten bei mir zu einem völlig verzerrten Bild). Gebe in der card database den Wert für die generic cyber 9397 ein. Benutze als X-Server den SVGA-Server. Jetzt nur noch die richtige Angabe zum Speicher beantworten und den weiteren Anweisungen folgen. Zum Schluß mußt du noch die gewünscht Auflösung für jede Farbentiefe einstellen(zB für 1024x768 : 1 drücken(8bpp) 4 (1024x768) n (keinen virtuellen Schirm); 2 (16bpp) ...usw).
