Hallo Liste,
ich habe SuSE 8.2 mit KDE 3.1 laufen.
Bei jedem Start von KDE bekomme ich eine Meldung vom KDE
Crashmanager:
Das Programm SuSEWatcher ist abgestürzt und hat das Signal
11 veranlasst.

Hat jemand eine Erklärung und Abhilfe dafür?
Signal 11 beim Programmstart? Und das bei unterschiedli- chen Programmen? Riecht etwas nach Hardware-Problemen. Ueberpruefe das Filesystem und vor allem den Speicher (memtest). CU, Thomson

Hallo, ich habe die Hardware gecheckt und die Festplatte mit der Swap Partition getauscht - jetzt klappts auch mit den Programmen. Doch habe ich noch das Problem, das z.B. in KEdit und KWrite der Dialog 'Speichern unter' leer bleibt, einfach ein großes leeres Fenster. Was könnte da quer laufen? Danke Carsten

Ähnliche Fehlermeldung bekomme ich, wenn ich Krusader starte.
Hat jemand eine Erklärung und Abhilfe dafür?

Ich habe gerade festgestellt, dass ein leeres Fenster (Dialog) erscheint, wenn ich z.B. in Kedit 'Speicher unter' wähle. Hat das was damit zu tun? Carsten Röhling
