postfix/imap und ein Problem bei der lokalen Auslieferung
Hallo Leute,
scheine da ein Problem auf "meinem" Mailserver zu haben dem ich
nicht so einfach auf die Schliche komme: da läuft Postfix & cyrus
(SuSE 8.1/2.4.19), und manchmal steht die lokale Mailauslieferung
urplötzlich. Ein Neustart der beiden Serverdienste bringt Abhilfe,
is aber net wirklich das was ich will.

Irgendwo is da der Wurm drin, hat wer Rat?
Die Online-Updates hast Du alle gemacht? Wie oft tritt das auf? Was passiert, wenn Du die Dienste nicht beide gleichzeitig neustartest, sondern nur einen? Einen Versuch wert wäre mal in der master.cf hinter local ein "-v" oder sogar ein "-vv" zu schreiben, dann sollte beim nächsten mal etwas mehr im Log stehen. -- Andreas

Ja, alles auf Letztstand. Problem bestand auch schon vor dem letzten grösseren Update.
Wie oft tritt das auf?
vollkommen unregelmässig, manchmal zweimal am Tag, dann wieder ein Monat lang überhaupt nicht.
Was passiert, wenn Du die Dienste nicht beide gleichzeitig neustartest, sondern nur einen?
noch nicht versucht.
Einen Versuch wert wäre mal in der master.cf hinter local ein "-v" oder sogar ein "-vv" zu schreiben, dann sollte beim nächsten mal etwas mehr im Log stehen.
