hab gerade auch gemerkt, dass ich beim starten eine Fehlermeldung bekomme:

Nein, das geht über HAL, d.h. darum kümmern sich KDE und GNOME. Auf der Kommandozeile verwendest du halmount.py, Paket ivman. autofs ist für NIS-Netzwerke dass NFS-Shares automatisch gemountet wird wenn man in das entsprechende Verzeichnis geht. Gruß, Bernhard
