8.1: K3b und ATAPI-Brenner / ATAPI-DVD Tekram / UW-SCSI-Contr. wie betreiben?
Hallo, Ich brauche Hilfe der SuSE-Fan-Gemeinde. Eigener Kenntnis-Stand: Linux-Newbie mit etwas Linux-Erfahrung. Problem: K3b nicht zu konfigurieren/benutzbar, auch CD-Brenner Icon nicht verfügbar Frage: Wie kriege ich das hin? (Den Brenner als Master und das DVD als Slave, was auch schon in der Liste als mögliche Ursache angeführt wurde, wollte ich aber nicht umstöpseln.) Bitte um Hilfe. Thomas Grießemer Nachstehend einige Basics meines Systems, das wie, wo und warum: Hardware: HDs hängen an einen PDC 20265 (ATA-100 onboard Controller) Als Master bzw. Slave (Plextor) am 2.IDE-Kanal: Pioneer DVD-ROM ATAPIModel DVD-115 0111 [Master] PLEXTOR CD-R PX-W1210A [Slave] Tekram 390-UW SCSI-Controler für SCSI-ZIP und SCSI-Scanner Symptome: Bei linken Mausklick auf Pioneer-Lw in K3b. E/A Fehler: K3b konnte /dev/hdc nicht mounten. Bitte rufen sie die Einrichtung auf. (Rechter Mausklick läßt einige Informationen abrufen und auch das Medium auswerfen. Scheint also teilweise zu gehen) Das Pioneer-DVD taucht in der Konfi von K3b als /dev/hdc auf! Das LW ist eingebunden über die IDE-Schnittstelle. Der Brenner wird als "Leser" geführt als /dev/sg1 (1,0,0) und ist eingebunden über eine Generic SCSI-Schnittstelle. Stand auch schon einmal als Brenner in der Liste. Historie: Installation der neuen SuSE 8.1 mit hdc=ide-cd und hdd=ide-scsi am Installationsprompt Nach der Installation Starten dann als root, hinzufügen von ide-cd cdrom und ide-scsi in INITRD_MODULES ncr53c8xx jbd ext3 ide-cd cdrom ide-scsi und anschließendes mk_initrd. Einträge für Linux in /boot/grub/menu.lst title linux kernel (hd0,4)/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hde5 hdc=ide-cd hdd=ide-scsi vga=791 initrd (hd0,4)/boot/initrd Auf dem Desktop (KDE): Icon DVD-ROM zeigt auf /dev/dvd LW mountbar und Anzeige einer CD/DVD korrekt Icon CD-ROM zeigt auf /dev/cdrom --> wohl ins Leere!! ?? beim Anklicken startet KsCD und erwartet wohl eine Musik-CD (keines der LW rührt sicht). Vom Brenner keine Spur auf dem Desktop (KDE)!!! Hallo Manfred, http://sdb.suse.de/de/sdb/html/81_ide-scsi.html hatte ich mir schon angesehen, doch so wie es aussah lag es an mir. Ich hatte beim ersten Mal das Modul "cdrom" vergessen und beim zweiten Mal das cdrom-Modul hinter ide-cd gegeben, was möglicherweise zu Problemen führte. System neu aufgesetzt. Mit cdrom ide-cd ide-scsi und hdc=ide-cd und hdd=ide-scsi am Installationsprompt und anschließend unter etc/sysconfig/kernel eingebunden und mk_initrd läuft die Geschichte jetzt. Brennen möglich: Brenner nun in K3b "sg1". Bzw. unter KDE als "cdrom2" geführt. Brauchte das Ganze nicht mal zu verlinken, wie das unter "K3B: Lösung" fast zeitgleich in der Newsgroup diskutiert wurde. Ich hatte so was schon befürchtet, bin aber positiv überrascht. K3B (0.7) läuft! Danke Thomas
