Hallo Alle zusammen, Habe etwas wo ich nicht weiter komme.Habe einen Server Suse 8.2 mit NFS und NIS mit mehreren clients dran alle Suse 9.0. jetzt folgendes habe noch ein Laptop mit Suse 8.2 dran hängen gehabt ohne NIS also lokaler Benutzer aber 2 Ordner per NFS rüber geholt bisher kein Problem jetzt habe ich den Laptop mit suse 9.2 bespielt. Alles wie gehabt eingerichtet Keine fehlermeldung bei der Einrichtung bekommen nur beim Hochfahren kommt die Meldung "tcp not available, falling back to udp" ansonsten nirgendwo fehler zu sehen. Aber wenn ich mich Anmelde und auf die entsprechenenden Ordner gehe dauert es ewig bis was angezeigt wird wenn dann überhaupt was kommt,wenn es dann einmal da war gehts dann beim nächsten mal schneller wo kann ich denn noch schauen oder was könnte es sein?? bin für alles dankbar gruß Fernando

Lass mich raten: Du hast bei der Installation NICHT auf die Vergabe der User-ID's geachtet? Schau mal auf den 9.2er Rechner. Dort fangen die User-ID's bei 1000 an, wenn man nicht selbst eingreift! Das laesst sich aber im Runlevel 1 (YaST im Textmode) richten. Anschliessend per chown -R username:users /home/username ["username" musst Du natuerlich richtig einsetzen] die Rechte anpassen und fertig. MfG Th. Habe es mit der User ID schonmal Abgeändert aber hat keine änderung hervor gebracht.

Das ist unproblematisch. nfs läuft normalerweise über udp.

Den Hinweis mit den User-IDs hast Du ja schon gekriegt. Aber das hier sieht mir nicht so aus, als wären die IDs schuld, denn dann dürfte es ja überhaupt nicht funktionieren.
