-- A jury consists of 12 persons chosen to decide who has the better lawyer. -- Robert Frost

Ach nein? Willst oder kannst du nicht lesen? $ sox -V 2>&1 | head -n 1 sox: Version 12.15 $ rpm -q --queryformat '%{name}-%{version} %{distribution}\n' -f `which sox` sox-12.15 SuSE Linux 6.2 (i386) $ man sox [..] -s/-u/-U/-A/-a/-g The sample data is signed linear (2's comple ment), unsigned linear, U-law (logarithmic), A- law (logarithmic), ADPCM, or GSM. [..] GSM is a stardard used for telephone sound compression in European con tries and its gaining popularity because of its quality.

Sportskanone. Hättest Du es vorher mal ausprobiert. sox: Failed reading /tmp/msg0000.WAV: Sorry, this WAV file is in GSM6.10 format and no GSM support present, recompile sox with gsm library Es war die Rede von SUSE 9.2. * Wed Feb 27 2002 - nadvornik@suse.cz - removed gsm library due to possible patent problems
