Hallo Liste stehe hier vor einem kleinem Rätsel! Bin auch mit googeln bisher nicht weitergekommen. Also: Habe auf meinem Laptop Debain Sarge(2.7.1), Fedora Core2 und Suse 9.1 (2.6.4) installiert. Das Aufspielen verlief auch soweit problemlos. Filesystem ist bei allen ext3, Bootloader: Grub. Ich konnte Suse mehrmals starten. Nachdem ich nun unter Fedora die /-Partition von Suse gemountet hatte und anschließend einen reboot durchführte, ließ sich Suse nicht mehr booten! Der Kernel gab eine Panic aus weil er die initd nicht finden konnte,zuvor scheiterte das mounten der root-Partition. Also flugs Fedora gebootet, Suse / gemountet und anschließend festgestellt das das /etc - Verzeichniss von Suse bis auf ein paar Ordner komplett leer ist. Alle Konfig-Dateien sind weg! Hatte zuvor nichts in /etc verändert, kann mir diesen "Schwund" also nicht erklären. Als Anhang noch die letzten Zeilen aus messages. Weiß jemand rat? /var/log/messages:
