Hallo, bei mir ist Wvdial.dod den ganzen Tag online. ich möchte 3 mal am Tag E-Mails abholen aber in der zwischen Zeit soll er (Server) offline sein. Bei Mir geht der Server (wvdial) wann er möchte ins Netz woran könnte es vermutlig sein ? Du wirst wohl bei jeder URL-Anfrage nach draußen eine Verbindung bekommen. Das liegt am diald bzw bei dir an dem nutzen der wvdial.dot. Was hast du denn mit wvdial.dot vor? wvdial ist doch ausreichend für dich. Dann machst du dir ein cronjob mit script was dich 3 x tägl. Online gehen läßt und wieder offline. send- fetchmail kannst du in der ip-up ausführen lassen (siehe thread "ip-up" von heute , oder im Archiv.
