Hi! Wenn ich ne CD-Rom oder ne DVD mounte und sie dann halt später mal wieder unmounten will, kommt es vor, das mir die Maschine sagt das dat Dives busy, also in arbeit ist. Ist es zwar dann nicht, aber selbst wenn es das wäre muss es doch einen Weg geben das Teil einfach ohne Rücksich auszuhängen oder? Welche is das denn?!?!? MFG Sebastian van de Meer -- Was hat ein Pinguin und Linux gemeinsam? Was nicht fliegen kann stürzt nicht ab... Wenn Windows die Antwort ist, wie dämlich muss dann die Frage gewesen sein?

Wenn er sagt, dass das Gerät Busy ist, dann ist es dieses normalerweise auch. Und mit "busy" ist nicht das Gerät selbst gemeint sondern eher das Filesystem darauf, d.h. dein Gerät kann inaktiv sein. Sobald Du z.B. in dem Verzeichnis drinnen bist oder ein Programm eine Datei geöffnet hält, ist das device busy und somit kann kein umount durchgeführt werden. Und ein unmount ist dann nicht möglich. Es gibt ein "-f" für force, aber dies ist für NFS Shares gedacht, die nicht mehr erreichbar sind. Was Du machen kannst, ist Prozesse killen, die das Device belegt halten. [...] Das Problem tritt immmer dann auf, wen ein anderes Programm noch auf das Device zugreift. Dies ist z.B. der Fall wenn Du ein konqueror Fenster offen hast, in dem der Inhalt der DVD/CD anzeigt wird. Ein "fuser /media/cdrom" kann genauere informationen geben Tschuss, Thomas

ja das ist lustig. Es gibt verschiedene Möglichkeiten: 1) Root hat sie gemountet, der user darf sie aber nicht anmounten: -> als root anmelden und unmounten. 2) Du befindest dich gerade in einem Verzeichnis auf der CD, also irgendwo unterhalb von /cdrom bzw. /media/cdrom. -> Da erst mal raus. 3) Die CD ist nicht unter /cdrom, sondern unter /var/adm/mnt gemountet, als Überbleibsel von Yast. -> umount /var/adm/mnt 4) Ein Prozess bzw. ein Programm wurde von der CD gestartet und läuft noch. -> fuser -m /cdrom . Lies dir mal man fuser bzw. fuser --help durch. Da steht drin, wie du diesen Prozess killst. Viel Spass Wolfgang
