Hi! Ralph Scharping und ich versuchen gerade einen CD-Server zu basteln. Die CD's werden mit "dd" kopiert und per loop-Device gemounted. Leider können nur 8 CD's gemountet werden. Mehr Loop-Devices (Standard: /dev/loop0 bis /dev/loop7) wurden schon mit mknod angelegt. Ja, der Kernel unterstützt nur die standardmäßigen 8? grep '#define MAX_LOOP' /usr/src/linux/drivers/block/loop.c findet was. Bei mir sieht loop.c auch noch so aus wie bei Dir, Steffen. :) Noe! Hab grad geschaut, in 2.2.16 ist das noch nicht drin. Naja, genug Hinweise auf das #define gab's ja schon zu Genuege. Haette wohl dazuschreiben sollen, dass das ein 2.4er Kernel ist... Ist scheint's seit 2.3.17 im Entwicklerkernel drin... Ich habe halt nur auf's Datum geschaut (was war da der aktuelle 2.2er? 2.2.14 oder noch kleiner?) CU David -- "Wenn du so weitermachst lernst du das "Wokeln" auch noch. Was du weist nicht was Wokeln ist. das ist der Stil in dem Ich Poste."
