Ich habe auch ähnliche Probleme mit meiner Karte WinTV PVR auf SuSE 7.3.
Meine Soundkarte ist eine Soundblast 16 PCI, sie wird aber im YaST2 als
128PCI erkannt.
Vielleicht ist das ein Problem...
Ich konnte nur einmal für kurze Zeit etwas hören mit einigen Modifikationen
im /etc/modules.conf die für SuSE 7.1 bestimmt waren. Leider konnte ich es
nicht mehr reproduzieren.
Ich habe gemerkt, dass 2 ähnliche Files gibt /etc/modules.conf und
/etc/modules.conf.-
Muss man vielleicht beide anpassen?
SuSE 7.3 sollte anders als bei früheren Versionen den TV Support im Kernel
haben; kann man
Anweisungen für SuSE 7.1 oder 7.2 auch bei SuSE 7.3 anwenden?

Hallo, versuch mal rauszufinden, was für ein Audiochip auf deiner Karte ist. Bei mir ist das ein MSP3410D-B4. Der wird automatisch erkannt und das sieht dann so aus: bttv0: i2c: checking for MSP34xx @ 0x80... found i2c-core.o: driver i2c msp3400 driver registered. msp34xx: init: chip=MSP3410D-B4, has NICAM support msp3410: daemon started bttv0: i2c attach [MSP3410D-B4] i2c-core.o: client [MSP3410D-B4] registered to adapter [bt848 #0](pos. 0). Naja, aber der MSP34xx ist glaube ich nur auf Stereo-Hauppauge-Karten. Manche Audiochips werden nämlich nicht automatisch erkannt. Aber da hilft bestimmt /usr/src/linux-2.4.4.SuSE/Documentation/video4linux/bttv/Insmod-options weiter. Wilko
