Hallo Liste, ich habe ein sehr merkwürdiges Phänomen. Ich frage mittels mrtg mehrere Router und auch einen Linux-Server ab. Auf dem Linux-Server frage ich sämtlich Schnittstellen ab, allerdings zeigt er mir viel zu wenig Verkehr auf den Schnittstellen an. Das merke ich zum Beispiel daran, dass ich eine Datei mit dem Linux-Server herunterlade (104kb/s), aber auf der MRTG-Grafik werden nur ca. 30k/s angezeigt, was nicht ganz stimmen kann. Hat vielleicht jemand von euch eine Idee, woran das liegen kann? Basissystem ist auf dem ucd-snmpd-Server und auf dem MRTG-Server SuSE Linux 7.0 prof. Mfg, Thomas

Wie oft läuft bei Dir MRTG? Üblicherweise startet man es alle fünf Minuten (oder als Daemon der alle fünf Minuten aktiv wird) und was Du erhälst ist dann der Durchschnittswert.
