Hallo Liste Ich will mit der neuen SuSE 6.0 mein System neu einrichten. Mir stellt sich jetzt die Frage, wie ich am besten meine Platten partitioniere. RAID 0 sollte Verwendung finden (wie das funktioniert ist mir bekannt). Für Linux stehen folgende Kapazitäten zur Verfügung: scsi 0 (2940 UW) sda 1 GB sdb 2,5 GB scsi 1 (7880 UW) sdc 1-2 GB sdd 2 GB sde 1 GB Wer hat Empfehlungen um die beste Performence zu bekommen? Software: Applixware, StarOffice, Gimp, Netscape und xcdroast Hardware: 160 MB RAM 2 PII 266 Am 2940 hängen auch noch der Brenner und das CD-ROM dran. Des weiteren sind 3 User angemeldet, die allerdings nicht über ein Netz am Rechner arbeiten.
