Hi, wie kann ich am geschicktesten in eine Datei, statt direkt an einen Drucker drucken? Mein Vater hat einen Canon LBP-4i rumstehen, aud dem ich gerne wichtige Dokumente drucken möchte, da ich nur einen sehr alten häßlichen Nadeldrucker an meinem Computer hängen habe. Ich möchte nun unter Linux so drucken als wäre der Drucker angeschlossen wobei der ausdruck im Drucker RAW-Format in eine normale Datei umgeleitet werden soll, die ich dann auf Diskette kopieren und auf dem Computer meines Vaters ( Windoof-System ) mit dem Befehl copy a:\print.lpr LPT1: an den Drucker schicken kann. Am besten direkt mit gs, falls der Drucker gestützt wird (ich nehme an, das ist kein PS-Drucker?). Von gs wird z.B. der lbp8, ein entsprechender Druck in eine Datei würde dann so aussehen: gs -sDEVICE=lbp8 -sOutputFile=myfile.prn -q -c quit myfile.ps (gs --help erzählt mehr) Wenn du dir das zu 'nem kleinen Skript machst, kannst du sogar bequem mehrere Dateien ausdrucken, bzw. den Skriptnamen bei z.B. Netscape als Druckkommando angeben. Hallo Bei einigen Anwendungsprogrammen besteht die Moeglichkeit den Drucktyp (raw) festzulegen und dann noch "Drucken In Datei" anzuklicken. Dies sollte es tun. Anderenfalls musst du den Printfilter aendern. (Keine Ahnung wie das geht.) Ich drucke ueber samba auf einen GDI-Drucker. (Waere eine andere loesung. Dazu musst du nur deinen Rechner und den Deines Vaters vernetzen.)
