Hallo, Das ist vieleicht doofe dumme Frage aber wo schicke ich das "fehlerteil", also den Absturzreport hin den Suse macht wenn ein Programm wegkratzt. Oder wen kann ich auf Fehler in Programmen wie z.b. Quanta ansprechen ? Gibt es dafür extra Listen ? Oder soll ich die Entwickler anschreiben ? Oder variiert das von Programm zu Programm ? Ich würde gerne helfen indem ich die Fehlerreporte weitergebe. Vielen Dank schonmal für Antworten :o) Grüße, Martin

Das variiert doch ziemlich. Die großen Projekte haben ausgeklügelte Bugtracking-Systeme, deren Benutzung auch angeraten ist, damit der Fehlerbericht an die richtige Stelle kommt. In aller Regel ist die Benutzung auch erklärt - manchmal ist sie eben holprig. Aber ich bin sicher, Du findest jemanden, der Dir dabei hilft beim Projekt selbst. Bei den kleineren schreibt man den (Haupt)Entwickler selbst an. auch das findest Du auf der Website des Projekts schnell raus.

Schön, daß Du das machen willst. Für SuSE-spezifisches das Feedback-Formular verwenden. Du wirst zwar zu 99.99999%-iger Wahrscheinlichkeit nie mehr als eine automatisierte Antwort bekommen, aber ich habe schon die Erfahrung gemacht, daß Anregungen aufgenommen und realisiert werden. Ja, das ist in der Regel so. Aber wenn sich der Anwender Mühe gegeben hat beim Bugreport schreibe ich meist eine Antwort. Die ist zwar auch nicht viel besser als eine automatische, aber wenigstens kann man dem Menschen direkt danken.
aber ich habe schon die Erfahrung gemacht, daß Anregungen aufgenommen und realisiert werden.
Wenn die Bugreports Sinn machen und echte Fehler beschreiben, werden die Fehler auch in dem meisten Fällen behoben. Und ähnliches gilt für Anregungen. Philipp
