Hi, ich habe ein Problem mit dem HP-Officejet G85. Ich habe ihn am Parallelport angeschlossen. Drucken funktioniert problemlos. da ich den Scanner nicht per Yast einrichten kann, weiler am Parallelport hängt, habe ich es manuell versucht. Ein "ptal-init setup" funktioniert und das Gerät wird erkannt. Wenn ich nun "scanimage --list-devices" versuche, wird das Gerät nicht gefunden. Ein Neustart von SANE bringt eine Fehlermeldung: # rcsane restart Resetting permissions on scan device(s)Reload service slpd failed done Reload service slpd failed failed # Ich benutze SuSE 9.1 Stefan

Hast Du den Scanner überhaupt in der Sane-Konfiguration eingetragen? Anregungen zum Thema findest Du unter 6.1. Hallo, ich habe einen Officejet 6110, der via USB angeschlossen ist. Der Drucker wird über ptal angesteuert. Für den Scanner habe ich mir das sane Paket von Packman runtergeladen für suse9.1. http://www.links2linux.de Danach wurde derScanner von YaST problemlos erkannt und eingerichtet. Was sagt die Sanedatenbank zur Unterstützung deines Scanners? Versuch doch mal das Teil via USB anzuschliessen. Vielleicht wird der Scanner dann besser erkannt. Grüße Michael Eichstädt

Ein Rezept dafür gibt es auf hpoj.sourceforge.net und da habe ich alle vorgeschlagenen Troubleshooting-Verfahren durchgetestet. Stefan
