Startproblem bei openSUSE 11.1 mit GNOME/ XFCE
Hallo zusammen, als Desktop soll XFCE laufen. Die dafür benötigten Programme sind installiert. Der Bootvorgang läuft problemlos ab, XFCE baut sich auf, mit kompletten Desktop, wechselt dann nach ca. 10 Sekunden auf den GNOME- Bildschirm. Wie kann ich ihm das abgewöhnen? Wo muss ich Hand anlegen? Hast Du nautilus installiert - den Dateimanager aus GNOME. Früher hatte der die "Unart", alles und jedem den GNOME Desktop "überzustülpen". Im Extremfall würde ich mal das versteckte Verzeichnis .config umzubenennen und dann XFCE neu starten. das hielt sich in Grenzen. Die Idee war gut, hat aber doch nichts genutzt. Habe weiter gesucht und bei "Sitzungs- und Starteinstellungen" eine Mittellösung gefunden. Häkchen bei "Sitzungsauswahl beim Starten anzeigen" gesetzt. Gut es funktioniert so, nur es wird weder eine Sitzungsauswahl angezeigt noch abgefragt. Scheinbar speichert er die letzte Sitzung nun tatsächlich. Hmm - ist schon komisch. Vielen Dank, machs gut bis dann. killall -9 nautilus xfce beenden und sitzung speichern Alternativ: Starte den gconf-editor Öffne apps/nautilus/preferences Nimm das Häkchen bei "show_desktop" raus.
