RE: Laufzeit eines Linux-Servers
Hi, Michael. Unser Linux 6.2 Server für unser Intranet (LAMP-Server) lief 410 Tage ohne Murren. Danach haben wir ihn heruntergefahren, um einen anderen Server mit neuester Technik/Software einzusetzen. Neustarts waren nie notwendig. Warum auch?! Probeweise hatten wir auch mal einen Microsoft IIS 3.0, den wir im Schnitt 2 mal pro Monat neu starten mussten, weil sich die Prozesse von sich beendeten... Immerhin reichte hier ein Neustart der Prozessen, ein Neustart aber des kompletten Servers war auch hier nicht notwendig... na ja. :-)

Hallo Zusammen,
Nach wieviel Stunden oder Tagen sollte ein Server neu gestartet werden ? Oder ist es überhaupt notwendig einen Server neu zu starten ?
