versuche suse 80 auf einem P100 mit 2 festplatten (ibm ic35 mit 40 gb und ibm ic35 mit 60gb) zu installieren, beim booten von cd-rom bricht der computer ab, sobald der lilo bildschirm erscheint, es wird keine zeile ausgegeben. die festplatten sind runtergejumpert und werden vom bios erkannt.
Hatte ein ähnliches Problem auch mal bei SuSE Linux 7.2. Konnte es jedoch einfach umgehen indem ich von der mitgelieferten Diskette gebootet hatte und im Textmodus installiert habe. Ev. funktioniert das bei dir ja auch (Hat SuSE 8.0 überhaupt noch einen Textmodus zum Installieren?). Grüsse, Nicolas Rüegg
