Was will ich auf eine vfat sichern? ich war unter Linux im Internet unterwegs und habe ein update/upgrade für eine Software gefunden, die ich unter WinXP verwende. Dieses möchte ich nun auf der vfat sichern, damit ich es dann dort wieder finde. Dabei müssen keine Datei-Attribute mit gesichert werden, weil WinXP sowie so macht, was es will. Aber ich brauche halt hin und wieder noch XP, so z.B. für das Online-Banking unter StarMoney. b) du kannst NICHT die Dateiattribute sichern.
Je nachdem, wie Du kopierst erhältst du die obige Fehlermeldung. Sie wird insbesondere dann geschrieben, wenn Du mit einem tool kopierst, das die Rechte der Quelldateien auf dem Zielmedium beibehalten will (wie rsync z.B.) Ich arbeite fast nur mit dem Norton-Klon mc und finde mich das bestens zurecht. Wie Renate die schon geschrieben hat, werden die Rechte auf vfat "Mountpoints" bereits beim mounten angegeben. (optionen umask, uid, gid, ...; siehe auch "man mount") Das Ändern von umask auf 0000 hat nichts gebracht, weiterhin die Fehlermeldung. Nun ja, ich kann damit leben.
