I was _not_ asked for any configuration data during the installation process, I found no configuration in /etc and no mysql-db too.
Hallo Al! Ich schreib mal lieber nicht auf Englisch zurück. Ich hoffe es macht dir nichts aus. Du hast sicherlich Vorteile, wenn du mythtv aus den Sourcen kompilierst. Du hast dann nicht nur die Auswahl über die Features. Es gibt dafür ein Howto, in dem auch beschrieben wird, wie man es einrichtet http://mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO.pdf (sehr gutes Howto!) Dort steht bei mysql: $ cd database (liegt im Sourcen-Verzeichnis!) $ mysql -u root < mc.sql (ob diese Datei bei dir da ist, weiss ich nicht, aber ich kann sie dir bei Bedarf schicken, im den Sourcen ist sie auch.) Dann müsste es passen Grüße Martin
