Hallo, um in Netscape u.a. kyrillische Fonts zur Verfuegung zu haben, habe ich xfsft als Fontsserver installiert. Wenn ich die Ausgabe von ps xfsft richtig interpretiere, laeuft der Fontserver auch. Wobei mir allerdings die unterschiedlichen PID (943 und 182) auffallen. Nachdem es laengere Zeit funktioniert hat, zeigt Netscape aber ploetzlich keine kyrillischen Fonts mehr an. Von der Liste will ich jetzt aber _nicht_ wissen, warum es nicht mehr geht, sondern wie ich ausprobieren kann, welche Schriften der Fontserver auf meinem System eigentlich tatsaechlich zur Verfuegung stellt. Vielleicht liegt das Problem ja auch bei Netscape. Ein "xfd -fn 'curcy_i.ttf -altsys-CurierCyr-medium-i-normal--0-0- 0-0-m-0-ascii-0'" (nur als Beispiel, die anderen Eintraege in der fonts.dir haben kein anderes Ergebnis) bringt nur die Warnung Warning: Cannot convert string "curcy_i.ttf -altsys-CurierCyr-medium-i-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-ascii-0" to type FontStruct xfd: no font to display Ach so, in /var/log/xfsft-errors.log steht nichts, obwohl ich in xfsft.conf use-syslog = on error-file = /var/log/xfsft-errors.log gesetzt habe. Aber vielleicht sieht oder weiss jemand ja auf Anhieb den entscheidenden Tip, wo ich weitersuchen muss.
