Hallo, o da bin ich wieder :-) ------------------------------------------------- GIMP is not licensed by Unisys. cheryl.tartler@unisys.com -----Original Message----- From: Webmaster [mailto:webmaster@ecotoursclub.de] Sent: Tuesday, November 23, 1999 10:53 AM To: cheryl.tartler@unisys.com Subject: Re: Should I have a Licence... The scope of Corel's license is described in their current products.
Ok What I wanna know is: If I have bought Corel Draw, may I use freeware (GIMP or other tools for creating Gifs) which have no licence for creating GIFS?. I`m not as big as unisys and can't buy a 5.000 $ or 7.500 $ Licence for creating Gifs under Linux. If the answer is no - I (and many other small sites too) can`t do anything other than "burning all gifs". I don`t believe killing the GIF-Format was the original Intention of Unisys. but who has 5.000 $ ???? Solution? - do you think about lower pricing? with friendly greetings from Germany Michael Temeschinko --------------------------------------- So, jetzt bin ich doch ein "lieber Mensch(TM)" aber ROARRR!!! GIF hin GIF her das Format muß weg!!! 3.
