hast in der /etc/named.conf einen forwarder eingetragen? hat bei mir geholfen.

Kann es sein, daß deine Modemverbindung deine resolv.conf überschreibt?
Nein, hab ich gecheckt. Und selbst wenn, wärs mir eigentlich ziemlich wurscht, ich habs sowohl mit als auch ohne Einträge in der resolv.conf probiert. Ausserdem soll ja der Nameserver auflösen...
sollte aber nicht überschrieben werden,da dann dein lokaler nameserver rausgeworfen wird. ich würde in dem einwahlschript dns aktualisierung für die resolv.conf entfernen und stattdessen deinen nameserver neustarten lassen. in der named.conf als ersten deinen nameserver eintragen (wenn du einen forwarder eingetragen hast) und sagen welche domain lokal ist. und im firewallscript ausgehende dns-anfragen erlauben.
ip-up überschreibt die resolv.conf auch nicht einfach, sondern ergänzt sie! Und bei SuSE 7.1 macht's nicht mal das wenn der Nameserver gestartet wurde. --> Keine Veränderung der resolv.conf beim Einwählen Firewall ist zu Testzwecken sowieso aus! Nicht dass die mir dazwischen funkt... ;) Tim
