Hallo zusammen, ich habe ein seltsames Performanceproblem mit meiner SATA Platte (unter SuSE 9.3 Professional) welches m.E. mit dem SuSE-Kernel im Zusammenhang stehen _könnte_. Ich messe eine Schreibrate von ~7MB, Unter Knoppix gebootet ist alles prima und ich bekomme ~50MB. (Datails s.u.) Beobachtet jemand ähnliches ? SuSE "issue" oder nicht ? Ich mein, die unterscheiden sich ja z.T. recht signifikant..... Hi again, downloaded Knoppix 3.8.1 overnight and gave it a try. Kernel is 2.6.11, ata_piix version 1.03 streaming write with bs=1024k: ~50 MB/sec So this probably a SuSE issue !?!?
