Guten Tag. Ich habe das Gefühl meine HD ist etwas lahm. Unter Windows erreicht sie einen Wert von über 26 MB/sec. Beim hdparm -t gibt's nur einen Wert von etwa 8 - 10 MB/sec. Ich habe eine Seagate st360020a, also 5400 UPM und 10 ms Zugriffszeit. Jetzt weiß ich nicht, was falsch sein könnte. UDMA ist eingeschaltet und auf der richtigen Stufe. Unten sind einige Werte von hdparm. hdparm /dev/hda ergibt: /dev/hda: multcount = 16 (on) I/O support = 1 (32-bit) unmaskirq = 1 (on) using_dma = 1 (on) keepsettings = 0 (off) nowerr = 0 (off) readonly = 0 (off) readahead = 8 (on) geometry = 7297/255/63, sectors = 117231408, start = 0 hdparm -i ergibt: /dev/hda: Model=ST360020A, FwRev=3.34, SerialNo=6EX097J3 Config={ HardSect NotMFM HdSw>15uSec Fixed DTR>10Mbs RotSpdTol>.5% } RawCHS=16383/16/63, TrkSize=0, SectSize=0, ECCbytes=4 BuffType=unknown, BuffSize=2048kB, MaxMultSect=16, MultSect=16 CurCHS=16383/16/63, CurSects=-66060037, LBA=yes, LBAsects=117231408 IORDY=on/off, tPIO={min:240,w/IORDY:120}, tDMA={min:120,rec:120} PIO modes: pio0 pio1 pio2 pio3 pio4 DMA modes: mdma0 mdma1 mdma2 udma0 udma1 udma2 udma3 udma4 *udma5 AdvancedPM=yes: unknown setting Drive Supports : Reserved : ATA-1 ATA-2 ATA-3 ATA-4 ATA-5 ATA-6 Kernel Drive Geometry LogicalCHS=7297/255/63 PhysicalCHS=116301/16/63 Die Festplatte hat ein ide-Kabel für sich alleine. Noch irgendwelche Infos nötig? Ist das normal, oder stimmt da etwas nicht? Ich hoffe jemand kann mir da helfen.
