Es geht. Allerdings nur mit Einschränkungen: die SuSE 6.1 hatte einen Fehler, denn es war kein parport_pc auf der Bootdisk dabei, weswegen plip nicht wollte. 6.2 und 6.3 habe ich diesbezüglich noch nicht probiert, möglichweise wurde dieser Bug gefixt. Mit SuSE 6.0 gings bei mir problemlos, einfach "plip"-Treiber laden (Modul-Diskette), IP-Adresse und ptp-IP und so weiter eintragen ... das selbe auf der "Server"-Maschine.
