Mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass dein MySQL nicht von Opensuse ist. Ich vermute, dass die Deinstallation nicht die Tabellen in /var/lib/mysql gelöscht hat, welche bei deinem ersten Aufruf angelegt wurden. Deshalb bleiben deine Probleme hartnäckig. (^-^)
Bitte mal folgende Reihenfolge:
- Deinstalliere in Yast MySQL - Lösche /etc/my.cnf - Lösche das Verzeichnis /var/lib/mysql
mysql deinstalliert und verbleibende Fragmente gelöscht (/etc/my.cnf war schon weg) In den Resprorities alle Quellen außer SuSE deaktiviert
Dann wieder in Yast MySQL installieren.
und MySQL neu installiert MySQL starten: $ # rcmysql start Starting service multi MySQL done ^^^^ in grüner Schrift! also OK??
