eigene Domain nicht finden kann. Meinerseitss Sendmail hat das anfangs ähnlich gemacht, nur nicht "foo.com" sonder "servername.eigenedomain" eingetragen, wodurch die mails natürlich von allen abgelehnt wurden.
Ok. foo.com war auch ein (unglückliches) Beispiel. Die wirklich zu ersetzende Domain ist natürlich nicht foo.com, sondern eine real existierende. Der aufgesetzte Bind kann es auflösen. An der Domain _kann_ es nicht liegen.
prüfe erneut ob in der /etc/mail/sendmail.cw alle deine domains drinnen stehen - untereinander ohne leerschritte oder tabs davor oder dahinter
Auch hier kann ich dir nur empfehlen: WEBMIN denn das zeigt dir zumindest an,
WEBMIN ist nach wie vor keine Option. Es muss doch jemand hier wissen, wie es geht.

was hast du eigentlich gegen webmin? man kanns ja kurs anwerfen, einstellen, und wieder löschen - nacher kannst dir dann anschaun was es verändert hat... prüfe die /etc/aliases erneut ob wirklich mit tab getrennt wird prüfe ob /etc/mail/aliases wirklich ein link auf /etc/aliases ist und zu guter letzt - das ist der punkt den ich unter webmin meinte - setz in der /etc/sendmail.cf in der letzten zeile O MatchGECOS=True ein - suche obs irgendwo anders schon mal steht, und kommentiere es mit # aus. ich setze voraus dass du vorher sicherst und übernehme keine verantwortung für irgendwas. sag bitte ob was nützliches dabei war! daniel
