Hi,

Hello,
There's a slight problem with the security update mod_php4 4.0.6: it is compiled with the option "--with-xml=no" whereas the original mod_php4 in the SuSE 7.2 distribution had XML-support.
You seem to be right. But this is a change that was actually introduced with the version update 4.0.4pl1 --> 4.0.6 that we issued in September last year (due to another problem).
The latest packages are alright, the only change is the added security patch (as it should be).
I assume that xml support was then switched off for a reason -- just tried to bulid with xml support... "expat.h not found". (Sorry, no further insight at the moment apart from the fact that this file really doesn't exist on a 7.2.)
Thanks, Peter, for clarifying this. In addition to this, there is no iomap support any more in the 7.2 package. We'll dig into this, and we'll update the 7.2 packages if we can eliminate the problem. Read in section 2) of one of the upcoming security announcements about it.
Peter
Roman.
