Hi, ich besitze das Asus P4C800 Deluxe-Motherboard und nutze KEIN RAID! Der RAID-Controller ist im BIOS deaktiviert. Insgesamt hab ich drei Festplatten und einen DVD-Brenner. Zwei Platten hängen am Primary als Master und Slave, der Brenner ist Secondary Slave. Auf der ersten Platte (hda) ist Windows XP installiert. Die dritte Platte ist S-ATA (sda) und ebenfalls KEIN RAID! Dort soll auf einer Partition Suse landen. Der IDE-RAID-Controller wurde mal früher von mir als zusätzlicher IDE-Anschluß genutzt, jetzt allerdings nicht mehr. Die Installation erkennt die Platten und Partitionen grds. erstmal korrekt, allerdings erhalte ich den Warnhinweis über ein eingerichtetes RAID auf hda (?!) und ich sollte mal über ein Software-RAID nachdenken. Im Prinzip ist es wie bei dem User Sam42 auf http://www.computerbase.de/forum/showthread.php?t=72385 . Da dieser mit einer zerschossenen Partitionstabelle nach der Installation zu kämpfen hatte, hab ich natürlich abgebrochen. Ich möchte natürlich gar kein RAID, sondern schlicht und einfach Suse in eine Partition auf der SATA-Platte installieren. Das RAID ist definitiv im Bios deaktiviert, Jumper gibts auch keine, um es doppelt abzusichern. Kann mir irgendjemand weiterhelfen? Ich möchte die Installation nur ungerne ins Blaue hinein fortsetzen und meine Platte gefährden. Maik
