Ja, SWAT ist agiert hier auch als Frontend zu smbpasswd. Es ist aber weniger die Frage, in welcher Form Name und Password in smbpasswd eingetragen sind, sondern auch die Frage wie ist die entsprechende Schreibweise auf dem Windows-Client, denn da habe ich schon den groessten Murks gesehen. :-( Die Schreibweise muss auf beiden Systemen identisch sein.
Inkl. Groß-/Kleinschreibung, Umlaute + Sonderzeichen und es sollten nur 8 Zeichen sein (Passwort), denn crypt kann nur 8 verwerten. Jan
