Ich habe hier OpenSuse 10.3 64-Bit. Wenn ich als Installationsquelle file://dev/cdrom angebe (ist vorgegeben), kriege ich die Meldung: "Die Platte ist nicht vorhanden". Die Datei /dev/cdrom gibt es auch nicht. Was kann ich da am besten machen? Danke für Eure Hilfe. Bin in Linux nicht sehr erfahren, aber bis jetzt gefällt es mir sehr gut.

Hallo Wolfgang, Opensuse bindet CD-Roms standardmäßig unter /media/<NAME DER CD> ein. Der Name der CD ist abhängig davon, wie die CD beim Brennen benannt wurde. Leg also mal die XP CD ein und schaue im /media Verzeichnis nach, wie der Name des Verzeichnisses ist.
