Das haut nun wirklich nicht hin. Du kannst dem Surfer nicht vorschreiben, welchen Browser er benutzen soll - vielmehr willst Du, daß deine Zielgruppe deine Seiten besucht und mußt dich deshalb auch an ihr orientieren.
Niemand will Surfer aussperren! Ich plädiere hier lediglich für schlankere HTML-Dateien. Eine Seite, die sich mit dem lynx lesen läßt, sollte auch für alle anderen Browser tauglich sein. Das setzt natürlich voraus, daß das ALT-Tag sinnvoll verwendet wird. Sonst schreibst Du nämlich den Usern den Browser vor. Wer aktuelle Features will, muß nun mal aktuelle Software einsetzen. Wird sich so schnell auch nicht ändern. Ist aber wirklich nicht tragisch, wenn man abwärtskompatibel bleibt und das ALT-Tag ...
