openSUSE-RU-2018:2666-1: moderate: Recommended update for conman
openSUSE Recommended Update: Recommended update for conman ______________________________________________________________________________ Announcement ID: openSUSE-RU-2018:2666-1 Rating: moderate References: #1101647 Affected Products: openSUSE Leap 15.0 ______________________________________________________________________________ An update that has one recommended fix can now be installed. Description: This update for conman fixes the following issues: - Allowed IPMI defaults to be overridden via libipmiconsole.conf. - Updated recognized strings for IPMI workaround-flags. (FATE#326641) - Make sure conmand connects to a newly created UNIX socket with minimal delay. The implementation uses inotify, however this triggers when the other side bind()s to the socket, however a connection is not possible until the other side calls listen(). Thus if the connection fails, reset the poll() timeout to return to connect() as soon as possible (bsc#1101647). This update was imported from the SUSE:SLE-15:Update update project. Patch Instructions: To install this openSUSE Recommended Update use the SUSE recommended installation methods like YaST online_update or "zypper patch".
