[opensuse-translation] How to download from berliOS's WebSVN
Hello everyone, I tried to download a po file directly from the i18n opensuse website. It gave me that page on BerliOS: https://svn.berlios.de/wsvn/opensuse-i18n/trunk/lcn/wa/po/zypp.wa.po There is no clear way to download the file. If you save as, it saves the HTML page. How can I do to download a single file when I've not access to my SVN client? Thanks in advance, Djan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
I think you should use viewvc: https://svn.berlios.de/viewvc/opensuse-i18n/trunk/lcn/wa/po/zypp.wa.po Here you can view, download, etc. 2010/3/25 Jean Cayron <jean.cayron@gmail.com>

Thanks. It's disturbing. In the past, it was sending to Novell's SVN with the possibility to download. L18N portal maintainer should think of pointing to ViewVC or adding a button "Download" in the WIKI page. This is because of many translators are not very technical guys, it must be kept simple. At the moment of the day I have time to translate, I can use either a windows machine not under my control, with network, or my laptop, which has linux but no network. Thus, if I need to download something it has to be via iexplorer, a strict corporate proxy, and a usb dongle. An http link is a requirement. Vertaal can help here, it does have such a link. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well with iexplorer. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. As Carlos says, sometimes you don't have your linux machine or you don't want to maintain your svn copies on three different systems. The teamleader uses SVN but not allways all fellow translators. Cheers, Djan 2010/3/25 Carlos E. R. <carlos.e.r@opensuse.org>:

Works nicely. Would be great if the stats could be made to link to those svnroot URLs. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
