Hello Rizman Suzaidi, thanks for your interest! Before starting with the actual translation work, we must make sure, that a suitable font for displaying Malay is available for openSUSE. Mike, will you please check this issue? Once we know it I will initialize the *.ms.po files and give you commit permissions. The iso639-1 language code is "ms", is that correct? -- Mike FABIAN <mfabian@suse.de> http://www.suse.de/~mfabian 睡眠不足はいい仕事の敵だ。 I Unicode --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

As this language uses the Latin Alphabet, fonts should be no problem. Most likely "DejaVu Sans" is already OK. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malay_alphabet it doesn’t even use accented letters. Fontconfig doesn’t yet know Malay ("ms"). That means, fc-match :lang=ms:outline=true will fall back to English when trying to select a font for Malay. That should be no real problem as English fonts should work fine for Malay. Nevertheless one should probably add this language to fontconfig. -- Mike FABIAN <mfabian@suse.de> http://www.suse.de/~mfabian 睡眠不足はいい仕事の敵だ。 I Unicode --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
