[opensuse-translation] 2012 - what next?
A Happy New Year to those, who celebrated it! I saw some of you already committing updates to the new openSUSE SVN server, what is great :) The SVN commit mailinglist also basically works. I subscribed some of you with your openSUSE SVN mail address to the berlios mailinglist and set the status to "nomail". This means, that your SVN commits could be mailed to the list, but you will not receive these mails (if you want to receive those mails, please subscribe with your normal mail address at https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/opensuse-i18n-svn ). We will probably switch to an openSUSE ML in the future. Next week or so, I'll ask the developers to submit new pot files "for testing". -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

One thing I forgot to mention. Next week, I'll create the 12.1 branch and in trunk, we will heeding towards 12.2. This means, please check in all you pending updates. -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

The openSUSE-12_1-Branch now exists (https://svn.opensuse.org/svn/opensuse-i18n/branches/openSUSE-12_1-Branch) and trunk now is open for 12.2. ATM, besides the release notes, I do not plan to publish an openSUSE 12.1 translation update (there are no unresolved bugs). If you think, a translation update is needed, please create a bug entry or discuss it here. -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

The openSUSE-12_1-Branch now exists (https://svn.opensuse.org/svn/opensuse-i18n/branches/openSUSE-12_1-Branch) and trunk now is open for 12.2. I've updated stats page accordingly. ATM, besides the release notes, I do not plan to publish an openSUSE 12.1 translation update (there are no unresolved bugs). If you think, a translation update is needed, please create a bug entry or discuss it here. There will be bug for lcn/bootloader if I find some time to make appropriate screenshot. Otherwise, you can live peacefully. =) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks a lot (I already noticed your checkin :) ). Unfortunately, it is not visible at http://i18n.opensuse.org/stats/index.php I think we can at least drop openSUSE-11_2-Branch and, maybe, openSUSE-11_3-Branch from the statistics page.

Ok, thanks :) -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks a lot (I already noticed your checkin :) ). Unfortunately, it is not visible at http://i18n.opensuse.org/stats/index.php That's because I forgot that this specific file is not updated automagically. Hello, if translation files aren't currently placed at berlios, you should probably change information at http://i18n.opensuse.org/stats/*/general.php to right URL at the points: * Repository: * Browse Repository: Next as well as unimportant thing is at http://i18n.opensuse.org/ in the News column on the right it may be useful to write something more actual than what there is at this moment... Hello,
if translation files aren't currently placed at berlios, you should probably change information at http://i18n.opensuse.org/stats/*/general.php to right URL at the points: * Repository: * Browse Repository: Thanks for reminder, I committed the changes, should be fixed by tomorrow stats update.
Next as well as unimportant thing is at http://i18n.opensuse.org/ in the News column on the right it may be useful to write something more actual than what there is at this moment... Actually, I thought about deleting news section at all (since it does not make a lot of sense for me), but never brought this up for discussion. For the moment, created two new notes there, it was some fun actually =)

Thanks, now it looks good, and only a rather minor issue is left: Product description does not match the Branch (product is wrong): openSUSE-12_1-Branch General Info Tue Jan 17 06:06:21 CET 2012 openSUSE 11.4 openSUSE-11_4-Branch General Info Tue Jan 17 06:06:21 CET 2012 openSUSE 11.3 openSUSE-11_3-Branch General Info Tue Jan 17 06:06:21 CET 2012 openSUSE 11.2 It is also a good idea to sort trunk first (as you did)! -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

openSUSE-12_1-Branch General Info Tue Jan 17 06:06:21 CET 2012 openSUSE 11.4 openSUSE-11_4-Branch General Info Tue Jan 17 06:06:21 CET 2012 openSUSE 11.3 openSUSE-11_3-Branch General Info Tue Jan 17 06:06:21 CET 2012 openSUSE 11.2
It is also a good idea to sort trunk first (as you did)! Manual cherrypicking of such lines in stats/index.php and stats/toplist.php required me to sleep some more, I guess. Fixed now,
2012/1/17 Karl Eichwalder <ke@suse.de>: thanks for debugging =) I think I'll write some code to autoupdate these files, too. -- Regards, Minton. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

ATM, besides the release notes, ...
There is now a small release notes update in the openSUSE-12_1-Branch. If possible, I'd like to publish it early next week. If you need more time, just say so. -- Karl Eichwalder SUSE LINUX Products GmbH R&D / Documentation Maxfeldstraße 5 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org
